Tribe Seeks Dir. of New Business

Tribe Creative Agency is an equally owned and democratically operated design & marketing agency that serves "Common Good" clients. Our key areas of focus are the environment, public health, social justice, education, responsible community development, the arts and animal welfare. Our services include: advertising, branding & identity, graphic design, interactive media, environmental graphics, and strategy & consulting.
 
We are seeking a Director of New Business Development to join our team of worker-owners:
 
Key Responsibilities

• Researching new client prospects (and their competitors) thoroughly
• Securing Requests For Proposals; managing Proposal creation
• Achieve a quota of qualified leads per month
• Attend networking events regularly

 
Key Skills

• Sales experience, preferably in advertising industry
• Knowledge of advertising/communications strategies
• Proficiency with MS Office suite
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of creative development processes a plus

 
Tribe is a 100% member-owned worker cooperative:

• All members are equal owners.
• Simple majority rule: one member, one vote.
• Business duties (treasurer, meeting chair, etc.) are rotated periodically.
• Co-ownership requires 100% approval after a six-month trial period.

 
Philosophical requirements of all Tribe members:
A) Must be committed to Common Good causes like those indicated above.
B) Must love the idea of being an equal owner/worker in a democratically run organization, where every member has an equal voice and there is no formal hierarchy or boss.
