Kelly Blanscet, Creative DirectorWhy does an award-winning graphic designer and art director with almost 20 years of creative experience decide to start a totally democratic business where she's no longer the head honcho? Well, it happened after hearing our copywriter drone on for years about "participatory economics" and other topics unsuitable for polite discussion. Let's try running an agency like that, she said. And the rest is history. Speaking of history, Kelly's professional emphasis has been on branding, corporate identity, print collateral and advertising. She has led creative teams at several ad agencies and creative boutiques in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas/Fort Worth—including Senior Art Director at Parker & Wood (San Antonio) and NourzAds (Austin), Senior Designer at Williamson-Dickie (Fort Worth), and Designer at direct marketing giants Harte-Hanks and Advo (Dallas). She has a BFA in Advertising Art from the University of North Texas. |
